Sarawak’s First-ever Esports Expo

The Sarawak Esports Association (SESA) organized an event with the theme "Feel the Experience & Knowledge." The primary goals of the event were to promote esports in Sarawak and to increase awareness of gaming among both the government and the general public.

SESA president Afiq Fadhli Narawi emphasized that esports goes beyond gaming and holds significant value. It can provide career opportunities as professional gamers or game app developers. Furthermore, hosting international esports events in Sarawak has the potential to generate income in the tourism sector, attracting gamers from both domestic and overseas locations.
